One-on-One leadership development for individuals will help any executive improve how they lead. Stronger leadership behaviors result in your managing more efficient and effective teams, which means better business results.
I offer managers of managers a great tool to address any shortcomings of their direct reports and/or fine tune how these managers lead their teams.
A management group who have all been through my leadership development work better together.
I can help when managers need an outside, objective party to evaluate potential hires, review onboarding plans for new staff or managers, consult on improving individual employee performance and I can support many other management activities.
One-on-One executive leadership development for individuals will help any manager improve their leadership behaviors. All managers have skills they've developed over time that have resulted in their being trusted with leadership positions. Strengths get a manager to where they are, weaknesses keep them from becoming the best they can be.
Effective executive coaching focuses on addressing business behaviors that could use some improvement- everyone has them- and Executive Impacts will turn weaknesses into management strengths.
The coaching process is individualized for each manager, identifying and focusing on management behaviors where that individual can improve, ensuring that they agree, and giving them personalized tools to make beneficial changes. The secret to success is in making the behavioral improvements second-nature and lasting, and I work hard to ensure that each client does exactly that.
In corporate leadership development, I work with the client manager's supervisor (the senior manager) to identify opportunities to improve the manager's leadership behaviors. This process encompasses executive coaching for Individuals (above) but I work with the senior manager in advance to set the goals of the coaching engagement, with the senior manager kept apprised of progress during the coaching, and that senior manager is directly involved in three coaching sessions with the manager client.
A senior executive who sends each of their managers through my leadership development process will have managers and teams who work together effectively and understand the importance of communication, expectations, teamwork, decision-making, time management and many other foundations of a successful organization.
Utilizing the tools outlined below, along with others as circumstances dictate, I can help managers:
Senior Management Experience
30+ years of senior management experience. I came to leadership development after a successful career in media and technology companies both large and small. I've managed sales teams, operations teams, and marketing teams; young talent, experienced executives, aggressive sales people, and managers of managers. I've developed leaders who have had long, successful careers and I've excused managers from positions where their behaviors or talents were not a good fit. I have walked the walk; let me help you and your managers do the same.
